Wallpaper Discount International has been selling wallcovering, border and fabric over the internet since early 1997. At that time we used a form that would fax the request to us and then we would give a price by e-mail.
Over the years since then we have constantly improved and simplified our quoting system. In 1999 we introduced our instant pricing feature. We could then give pricing as soon as you entered your request, right on your screen, without waiting for an e-mail response.
In 2000, we integrated the price quoting with our order taking. The program allows you to get a formal price quotation both on your screen and also e-mailed instantly to you. You have 30 days to convert that quotation to and order protecting yourself for any price increases that may occur during those 30 days.
In 2001 we added the search by pattern number feature. Now you can enter just a few characters of the pattern number and all patterns that start with those characters are displayed along with the wallpaper book the pattern is in.
